Who will shape Syria’s reconstruction — and under what rules?
The project
One study analyses the governance structures, regulatory environment, economic actors and sectoral priorities shaping reconstruction. The second focuses on opportunities and constraints for foreign investment, particularly for European and German companies.
The research is written to enter policy dialogue, including a forthcoming conference in Berlin, rather than to sit as two isolated papers.
